2013 sees the opening of an Architecture Practice for Dubbo and is the brainchild of Alexandra Murray. Having been in Sydney for 10 years, Alexandra (originally from the Western Division) decided it was time to take her trade a little closer to home, saying goodbye to 'Stubbs Design Tribe' established by Mathew Stubbs. Alexandra has successfully made the move from Sydney to Dubbo and Design Tribe Dubbo is now a well established boutique architecture practice, having found a niche in the local market. With Mathew coming on as a director and business mentor during start up, Alexandra was able to seamlessly transform a proven city business model into one suitable for regional and western NSW. Whilst the two offices are very much separate entities, the collaboration on current Sydney projects continues, and the opportunity for joint ventures is always there. Design Tribe Dubbo's vision is to be the most recognised Architecture Practice west of the Blue Mountains whilst ensuring that sustainable design is integrated into all their projects. |
